The risk of developing high blood pressure is very high in patients with heart disease. It has long been claimed that garlic and beetroot regulate blood pressure, a fact that is considered important for the heart in Ayurveda. Furthermore, Dr. Enid Webb of King's College London believes in conducting large-scale experiments to determine the veracity of claims of losses.
In this experiment, 6 people with blood pressure problems were selected whose maximum blood pressure was more than 150 mm. Whereas the blood pressure of any youth should be 120. All these volunteers were divided into three groups. For the first week, volunteers were given two cloves of garlic a day. The second group was given watermelon while the third group was given two pieces per day. During the second and third weeks, the food given to each group was replaced by a purse. Regular consumption of garlic and beetroot has been shown to reduce high blood pressure
Certain foods, such as garlic and beets, are believed to lower blood pressure. The blood vessels present there dilate so that it is believed that blood can flow easily. The mean blood pressure in this experiment was 12.5 mmol. The blood pressure of the beet eater was found to be 12.5 mm. Whereas the garlic eater was found to be 12.5 mm.

Beetroot mainly contains nitrates which are also found in all green vegetables, celery, spinach and broccoli. Garlic mainly contains allicin which is also abundant in onions and some other species. This trial found that there are several things that can be used to control blood pressure.
