Rising petrol and diesel prices will bring great relief to farmers.  After scooters, cars and buses, now CNG fitted tractors will also be seen plying the roads and farms.  Union Minister for Roads, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will unveil the country's first CNG-fitted tractor on February 12 at 5 pm.  Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Agriculture Narendrasinh Tomar, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways VK Singh and Minister of State Purushottam Rupala will also be present on the occasion.

Benefits

Farmers will directly benefit from CNG conversion of tractors by Rawmate Techno Solutions and Tomaseto Achilles India.  It is hoped that the arrival of CNG tractors will also help in increasing the income of farmers.

As everyone knows CNG is a pure fuel, emitting very little carbon and other pollutant particles.  The CNG engine converted by the new technology will have a longer life than conventional tractors.  Compared to diesel, the mileage of CNG tractors will be much higher.  Not only that, petrol and diesel prices go up and down every day, while CNG prices fluctuate considerably.

CNG is cheaper

CNG is much cheaper than petrol or diesel.  Due to the tight sealing of the CNG tank, the blast scope during refueling is greatly reduced.  Waste of wealth means the option of making valuables out of waste gains more strength.  The use of straw is bio-CNG.  Can be made, which will not only increase the income of the farmer, but will also help in reducing the pollution caused by burning straw.

CNG tractors will also have these benefits

Some studies report that CNG  Tractors get more power than diesel powered tractors.  CNG emits 70 percent less emissions than diesel.  Using CNG tractors will help farmers reduce fuel costs by 50 per cent.  If we talk about Delhi, the price of diesel in the national capital is Rs 78.03 per liter while CNG is Rs 42.70 per kg.
